Gene: The basic unit of heredity.
Allele: An allele is one of two or more versions of a gene. Offspring inherit one from each parent.
Agouti: This gene is responsible for determining if an animals(mammal) coat is banded or solid. Bengal cats have four that can be tested for. Agouti(A), Agouti 2 variant(A2), non-agouti(a), Asian Leopard cat Agouti(apb).
